
Terms & Conditions
By renting/purchasing from We Buy You Hire, you agree with our Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, we kindly ask you not to rent/purchase from We Buy You Hire.
Payment
Payments are made through the website. 50% of the rental garment price must be paid to secure the booking; the deposit is non-refundable. On the day of pick-up, the remaining 50% of the rental price must be paid through the website or in cash. Please let us know if you are bringing cash OR you can pay for the full rental price for securing the garment. Please be aware we cannot hold any outfits without a deposit, including if you have booked a try-on!
Pick-ups & Returns
Please note we have a No ID no Hire Policy. You will need to bring some form of ID when picking up your rental, this is for safety reasons to ensure no rental items are stolen.
All payments must be done before the garment is available to take home. All outfits are picked up the first date of the rental period, Drop offs are the last day of rental period.An additional $10 per day late fee will be charged. You must return the garment in the garment bag provided, if not returned in the bag, you will be charged $10.
If the outfit is not returned within 7 DAYS, it will be concluded the outfit is stolen, therefore the full retail price will need to be paid + 7 days late fees. The matter will be taken further.
Cancellations
Garment Cancellations: Clients may cancel the booking of rental garments at any given time. In doing so, the borrower agrees to forfeit the hire fee. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
Try-on Cancellations: Please note we have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy in place. Clients may cancel their try-on appointments at any given time outside the 24 hour window and your try on fee of $10 will be refunded back to you. However, if you are cancelling within our 24-hour window of your try-on appointment the $10 try-on fee will be forfeited.
Liability
The hirer is the only person allowed to wear the garment, you cannot lend or hire to anyone else. You are fully responsible for the garment for the entire duration you have it. You will not alter or add additions to the garment. You are fully liable if the garment is damaged or lost while in your possession. Please be wary of makeup, fake tan, ect.
Cleaning
All garments are to be returned unwashed; the cleaning is included in the hire price. If an item has been stained, you acknowledge that you WILL NOT attempt to clean the garment in any way. Please make We Buy You Hire aware of the stain/damages before you return the garment. If an item requires extra dry cleaning, it will be arranged once returned to us and you agree to pay the fee of the service, in addition to the hire fee. This will need to be paid within 2 days.
Damages
All garments must be returned in the condition in which they were received. The hirer is responsible for the garment for the hire period; therefore you are completely accountable if the item is damaged or lost while in your possession. You will need to pay the full retail price of the garment to replace the garment if it is damaged, if you have ripped it and it can be fixed then you will need to pay for the repair of the dress. If there are stains that we can’t get out, the garment is therefore damaged, then you will also need to pay the full retail price of the dress. Please note it is entirely up to We Buy You Hire to deem the garment damaged, if we deem the garment damaged and are unable to rent it then you will be liable and the full retail price mist be paid within 2 days to allow We Buy You Hire to replace the garment for the next hire. You CANNOT pick up the outfit and try cleaning it/fix it yourself. Once paid for the garment, you can come pick up the outfit to keep.
Messages
Please know that we know accidents can happen and we won’t be rude in any way if the garment needs fixing, dry cleaning, or a full replacement. We ask that you please be loyal to us and agree to these terms and conditions when you have rented one of our garments so that we can fix whatever needs to be fixed/ replaced.
Try on Appointments
Please book via the website for a try on booking, via the BOOK A TRY ON tab, if none of the times available don’t suit you, your more than welcome to message us to see if we can fit you in/make something work!
Try on fees are $10, If you book a garment within 24 hours of the start of your try on appt time, the $10 will be deducted from your hire fee.
If you DO NOT book a garment, within the 24 hours, the $10 will not be deducted and it is non-refundable.
If you cancel your try on appointment 48 hours before, the $10 will be refunded, if within the 48-hour time frame, the $10 will not be refunded under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
If you’re wanting to try on a particular outfit, please first check it is available for your event date, if it is available, please write in your try on appointment notes the dress brand, name and size, and also what date your event is. We can then make sure the outfit is here for you when you come for your try on! If you have booked a try on and your garment then becomes booked we will reach out to you and let you know and if you would like to cancel your try on due to the dress being booked then your $10 try on fee will be refunded back to you.
Behaviour
We will NOT tolerate disrespectful and rude behaviour; we will ask you to leave, and you will be blacklisted and unable to hire from us ever again.
If you fail to obey our Terms and Conditions, you will also be blacklisted and unable to hire from us in the future.
If there are any problems and we have organised to sort this out in person, you must NOT bring a third party. Please be aware this is a home studio.
