How does dress hire work?
You select your desired dress online or in-store, book it for the date you need it, and then wear it for the event. After your event, you return the dress in the provided return packaging.

What types of dresses do you offer for hire?
We offer a wide variety of dresses for different occasions, including formal gowns, cocktail dresses, bridesmaid dresses, and casual wear. We carry styles for various sizes and tastes.

What sizes do you stock?

We stock sizes 6,8,10 and 12. We hope to extend this size range in the future!

How do I book a dress?
You can book a dress through our website! Simply choose the dress you want, select your rental period, and proceed to checkout.

How far in advance should I book a dress?
We recommend booking at least 1-2 weeks in advance to ensure availability, especially during peak seasons!

Can I try on dresses before I hire them?
Yes! If you're local, we welcome you to visit our store for a fitting via the BOOK A TRY ON tab! Unfortunately, we DO NOT offer postal try ons! 

How long can I rent a dress for?
Our standard rental period is typically 3-5 days. However, if you need to hire the garment for longer that the days we have provided, please email us and we can arrange something!

How much does it cost to hire a dress?
Prices vary based on the brand, style, and rental duration. You can find the specific cost for each dress on our website or by contacting us for more details.

 Is the rental price the same for all dress types?
No, prices vary depending on the designer, the fabric, and the complexity of the dress. We offer a range of price points to fit different budgets.

Do you offer discounts?
We have our loyalty program of 20% off 5th Hire, and your 10th hire is free. Excluding Shipping Fees. We have a VIP program COMING SOON!

 Can I pick up my dress in-store?
Yes, if you're local, you can choose to pick up your dress in-store. Select PICK UP at check out.

What happens if I return the dress late?
We recommend returning the dress on the agreed-upon date to avoid late fees. If you're unable to return it on time, please contact us to discuss an extension or additional charges.

How do I return the dress?

Simply put the dress back into the garment cover, and put it into our drop box at the shops location.

Do I need to clean the dress before returning it?
No, we take care of the cleaning! The cleaning is included in the hire fee. Each dress is professionally cleaned after every hire. Just return the dress in the same condition it was received. However, if it needs extra dry cleaning, you will need to pay for this, please refer to our Terms and Conditions.

What if the dress is damaged while I have it?
If the dress is damaged during your rental period, please contact us immediately. Depending on the extent of the damage, you may be charged a repair fee or replacement cost.

If we can fix the outfit you will need to pay for the repair. If we cannot fix the outfit and the outfit is therefore damaged, you will need to pay full retail price to replace the outfit. Your hire fee is NOT deducted from this fee. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions.

What happens if I spill something on the dress?
If an accident happens, don’t worry—please contact us right away. We’ll guide you on how to handle the situation. If it's a minor stain, we can often address it. For significant damage, there may be additional charges.

Do you offer accessories to rent?
We sell the brand BIANKO Jewellery in store. Jewellery is SELLING items. We DO NOT rent them out.

Can I hire a dress for a maternity event?
Yes, we carry a selection of maternity-friendly styles, including dresses that are both stylish and comfortable for expecting mothers. Our most popular is our BENNI dresses for maternity.  Please email us if you have any questions! Or DM us on Instagram!

What is your cancellation policy?
Please refer to our Terms and Conditions in regards to bookings and Try Ons with regards to cancellations.

What happens if the dress gets lost or stolen?
If the dress is lost or stolen, please notify us immediately. You will be responsible for covering the cost of the dress with a full retail price replacement. Once the dress has left We Buy You Hire, it is your full responsibility to look after the dress.

Do you offer Try Ons?

Yes, you can book an appt via the BOOK A TRY ON tab.

 

Do you offer shipping?

Not at the moment.

Can I alter the dress?

No, this will go under damaging the dress as it will NOT be in the same condition we gave it to you in. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions.
